MUT Trail
In 2026, the MUT Trail is back after a short break. We used the past year to reset, evaluate previous editions, and organise a smaller-scale social MUT event.
The MUT Trail is organised by non-profit association Out-There, founded from a shared passion for trail running. In addition to organising MUT, the association also hosts D+ Thursday training sessions and has offered various lectures on trail-related topics in recent years.
We’re back with new races, yet still grounded in the core values our trail stands for. Geraardsbergen and its wider surroundings remain the epicentre. However, we’ve chosen a new start location: the Abbey Park (Abdijpark). The longer distances continue to be point-to-point courses, and music remains an essential element. Above all, we keep focusing on atmosphere and community. Our Trail Festival aims to be, first and foremost, a meeting place for like-minded people.
